McKerrow woman taking part in Gutsy Walk once again

Over the last eight years, a McKerrow woman has been taking part in the Gutsy Walk in Sudbury, not only raising funds but also raising awareness of the disease.
Brenda Houle says that over 322,000 Canadians are living with some form of inflammatory bowel disease, with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis being the most common forms.
She says they are chronic, lifelong diseases that can cause severe pain, fatigue, urgent trips to the washroom, and sometimes require hospitalization or surgery. Her daughter, Lisa, is affected by the disease, so those are the reasons she is once again taking part with the ultimate goal that one day a cure will be found.
The 30th Annual Gutsy Walk takes place this Sunday, and Houle will take part with her team, No Gutsy, No Glory!
