McCarthy takes new hockey assignment

Espanola Express head coach Tom McCarthy is stepping down.  McCarthy is moving to the Romanian Hockey league where he will be the head coach for the Sport Club Csikszareda.  The team is one of the stronger clubs in the Romanian league with 14 championships.  However McCarthy will still be one of the Express’ co-owners and will continue to live in Espanola in the off season.  And during the summers, McCarthy says he will continue to build future teams for the Express.  Replacing McCarthy as head coach is Jason Rapcewicz.
