It was close for Espanola’s Spartan boys as they just missed winning the NOSSA curling championship. The boys lost their semi-final game to North Bay which went on to win the Northern Ontario championship. The tournament was held in Sault Ste. Marie and all the players got a special treat. Canadian and Olympic gold medal curling champion Brad Jacobs, who hails from the Sault, spent some time with the students talking curling.
