Work is continuing at the Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake

Work is progressing at a nice pace for the Pearson Plaza in Elliot Lake. Mayor Dan Marchisella says much of the interior work is now underway at the Foodland grocery store. Windows and tiles will be installed in the next couple of weeks, and drywall has already started to go in.

Marchisella says in terms of the rest of the mall, all of the framing is up and the next step is the roof.

The plan is to still see Foodland open during April with the remainder of the outlets open for business before summer.
