Tim Hortons across the country is preparing for the annual Fall Smile Cookie Campaign and all outlets will need volunteers to help put the smiles on the tasty treats.
The funds raised from the campaign goes to various causes throughout the country.
In Espanola and McKerrow, the funds will go towards the Espanola Hospital Foundation to kick off its 2025 Christmas Radiothon in partnership with The Moose 99. 3 FM – CJJM Espanola.
Foundation spokesperson Terri Noble says they need volunteers November 17 – 21 (8am – 4pm) in Espanola & McKerrow.
She can be reached at 705-869-1420 Ext.3591.
In Little Current, the Lions Club will be this year’s recipient.
The Lions Club in Elliot Lake will also receive 50% of the proceeds with the other half being designated to a local charity.
Blind River’s two locations will be donating the Blind River Public Library.
And in Sudbury, most of the funds are going to the Children’s Society which provides supports across the North Shore Corridor and Manitoulin Island. (CASDSM has partnered with most stores in the Greater Sudbury area. According to the Tim Hortons website, two stores at Health Sciences North are supporting the HSN Foundation, and one store on Notre Dame is backing the Sudbury Food Bank.)
Volunteers are asked to contact their local charity to assist with putting the frosting on the cookies.
