The Renaissance Centre has been sold in Elliot Lake.
According to the Renaissance Board of Directors, the North Shore Tribal Council has purchased the building and will take possession of it on Oct 1.
The council has not stated how they will be utilizing the new building, but will release that information soon.
Officials say the sale does not include the Renaissance Active Living Centre Club, which will now begin the search for a new home.
The center has been providing social, recreational and physical activities in Elliot Lake for more than 30 years as part of the rebranding of the city as a retirement community
