It’s over for the NOJHL at the Eastern Canada Cup Junior Challenge. Yesterday the all-star squad of NOJHL players lost their quarter-final game against the all-stars from the Ontario Junior Hockey League. The final was 5-3. The northern league had an early lead but the OJHL players stormed back from a two-goal deficit to advance to semi-final play. Four players from the Elliot Lake Wildcats were part of the northern all-star squad.
