Flag lowering’s, proclamations and conference for Victims and Survivors of Crime Week

Victims and Survivors of Crime Week is next week and there is an opportunity to attend flag lowering, proclamations and a conference in our local area.
Amy Collins, the executive director of Manitoulin/North Shore Victim Services says next MONDAY, the organization will host two proclamation signings and flag lowering ceremonies, at 9 am at Espanola Town Hall and at 1:00 pm at NEMI Municipal Hall in Little Current.
She says the flags will be lowered and a moment of silence held for all those effected by crime and tragic circumstances.
Collins adds the Power of Collaboration Conference will be held on Friday, May 16th at 9:00 am at the Manitoulin Hotel & Conference Centre.
Anyone who wishes to attend, can contact the office to RSVP.
