Community Fund Proposals now being accepted for United Way’s 2024-25

If a community organization in our local coverage areas including the North Shore Corridor and Manitoulin Island are looking for funding, United Way Centraide Northeast Ontario is now taking applications.
Executive Director, Mary Lou Hussak, says registered charities and qualified organizations serving the Districts of Sudbury, Manitoulin, Timiskaming, Cochrane, Nipissing and Parry Sound are invited to apply from December 2nd to January 10th.
She says the application for funding is a three-part process and must be submitted online.
Hussak says all applications must align with their commitment to empowering communities to overcome poverty focused in three key areas: helping kids, building healthy communities and moving people from poverty to possibility.
