More than 1,200 students from Grade 4 to Grade 8 are taking part in a special St-Jean Baptiste concert today.
Students from 20 Greater Sudbury and Espanola schools will gather at Bell Park’s Grace Hartman Amphitheatre for a St-Jean Baptiste concert featuring the Francophone artist LeFLOFRANCO.
The concert is presented jointly by the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon and Conseil scolaire du Grand Nord as part of the 25th anniversary of St-Jean Sudbury and will mark the launch of the numerous St-Jean Baptiste activities to take place in the local during the month of June.
The concert is also a way to expose students to a Francophone cultural experience and to reinforce their links with Francophone community partners.
