A federal New Democrat is making a case for tourists to visit Northern Ontario this summer. Carol Hughes, of Algoma Manitoulin Kapuskasing, says the north has a lot to offer. She says many communities have festivals, Pow-wows and special events. Hughes adds scenery can be breath-taking and adds people should keep in mind that they’ll be walking in the footsteps of Canada’s Group of Seven.
