Four communities looking at medical busing options

Four North Shore corridor communities are looking for input from its seniors in regard to establishing a regional bus service for medical appointments.

Community Health Navigator Jennifer Lagrandeur says the townships of Sables-Spanish Rivers, Baldwin and Nairn & Hyman as well as the Town of Espanola are looking for the opinion of anyone over 55 as to whether they would use a regional bus service on a regular basis for medical appointments.

She says they are looking to speak specifically to people who have difficulty finding transportation for those appointments.

Her contact information is available on our websites for anyone wanting to take part in the survey.
