Network auxiliary raises fund for health network foundation

The North Shore Health Network Auxiliary based out of Blind River had pledged to raise $35,300 for the purchase of medical equipment but has been successful in raising more.

Instead, the auxiliary made the higher donation of $38,500 to the North Shore Health Network Foundation this past week, which will cover the cost of a cardiac monitoring system and two Lucas chest compressors at the Blind River site.

However, the work does not stop there with the auxiliary now launching its 30th Annual Tree of Lights Campaign andnow accepting donations to continue their support for the foundation.

Forms are available at the Auxiliary’s Gift Connection at NSHN Blind River site, 525 Causley St. You can also get a form at Barrel of Goodies, 18 Woodward Ave. in Blind River.
