Child Care Worker and Early Childhood Educator Appreciation Day will be celebrated by the Algoma District Services Administration Board.
Spokesperson Julie Strom says trained and knowledgeable Registered Early Childhood Educators and childcare staff are the key to quality in early learning and childcare programs.
She adds they are vital to the success of the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care system.
Strom says the board is inviting the public to celebrate those workers on October 18th, the date set aside to celebrate these educators
