Curling returns to Elliot Lake

The Deer Trail Curling club is reopening.

Spokesperson Paul Noad says the club, which was closed permanently just over a month ago, is now under new management by the same group that operates the Elliot Lake Red Wings with plans to resume operations this fall.

Noad says refurbishment has and continues to take place to the facility to ensure that the sport is available for all enthusiasts, young and old alike with pickleball being introduced this spring.

He adds membership packages are being put together and other groups are also invited to contact the venue for rental information.

Membership information will be available shortly on https://www.deertrailcurlingclub.ca/  or contact [email protected] with any questions.  Stop by the club at 55 Hillside Drive South to inquire about the upcoming season, and purchase your curling membership.
