Manitoulin Secondary School has a new administrative team in place.
Education Director Bruce Bourget says the Rainbow District School Board has had Neil Debassige join the team, which also includes Principal David Wiwchar and Vice-Principal Dawn Noble McCann.
Bourget says with his strong roots in the First Nations community, Debassige brings an important perspective and will assist in enhancing the ongoing work in Truth and Reconciliation.
He adds Wiwchar is the former principal of several local schools including S. Geiger in Massey and as vice-principal at Manitoulin Secondary.
Bourget says McCann joined the board in 2005 and has been a part of the school as a teacher and now administrator.
