Denison Mines is merging. The company, with a long history in Elliot Lake, is joining forces with Fission Uranium. The joint venture creates the leading Canadian uranium player in the Athabasca region. Fission says the merger creates the uranium industry`s leading exploration and development company just as the sector is ready to start growing again. The new company will be known as Denison Energy Corp.
