A well-known local area conservation officer is looking forward to doing a little fishing of his own.
After over 30 years working as a conservation officer in Espanola, Denis Lefebvre is set to retire with tomorrow being his last day of manning the local office.

She says he especially enjoyed working with various local organizations such as the Espanola Game and Fish Club, the annual deer checks, educational seminars shared with communities throughout the North Shore corridor, and teaching kids about conservation.
She adds he won’t be going too far, but there might be some fishing and maybe a little hunting on his horizon soon.
