The City of Elliot Lake has launched a webpage announcing its participation in the ON ICE – Ice Fishing Challenge.
EDO Steve Antunes says the derby starts February 1st and runs to February 28th.
Antunes adds it is supported by the city and sponsored by Canadian Tire and the Elliot Lake Trading Post.
He says the tournament is online and runs through Angler’s Atlas website and their mobile app MyCatch.
He adds there is a chance to win over $13,000 in prizes.
Anyone can participate in the challenge; it is for all ages and there is a $20 Registration fee to enter. For more information visit www.elliotlake.ca/icefishingchallenge
