Sagamok Anishnawbek to continue pandemic precautions into January

Sagamok Anishnawbek to continue pandemic precautions into January

Sagamok-Anishnawbek First Nation will continue with its pandemic precautions into January.

The Sagamok Anishnawbek health team says they know there are confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in the community and that case numbers continue to rise in the region, so it has been decided safety precautions will continue into the new year, starting January 3rd, 2022.

Sagamok Anishnawbek will continue to focus on delivering only critical and essential services with many other services continuing using online virtual platforms

All non-essential group activities and programming will also remain suspended, and no visitation to the Elders Eagle Lodge also remains in place.

This decision is aligned and supported by advice and guidance from Public Health Agencies across the province and are intended to keep our workspaces safe.

Community residents can contact Community Health Teams through an email address set up to handle pandemic-related concerns at [email protected]
