Ontario is reporting its highest single-day total for new COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
The province added 5,790 cases on Thursday along with seven more deaths.
Test positivity is at a record-breaking 16 per cent with the seven-day rolling average reaching 4,001.
169 people are in intensive care across Ontario.
