Residents of a senior’s complex in Espanola worked together on a Christmas campaign to raise funds for the local food bank.
Grant Lewis who volunteers with the food bank says throughout the month of November, the residents of Queensway Place were challenged to help the Espanola Helping Hand Food Bank.
He says the challenge was to raise $1,200 by December 15th.
Lewis adds they exceeded that goal raising $1,315 and enjoyed a catered dinner and a big thank you from the food bank for their support.
