The search for a new CEO to oversee the operation of the two sites of the Manitoulin Health Centre is now underway.
Board chair Dennis McGregor says the centre is a two-site small rural hospital serving the people of Manitoulin Island, one based in Little Current, the other in Mindemoya.
He says the search for a permanent Chief Executive Officer is underway and they are retaining an executive recruitment firm with hopes of having a new CEO in place by the start of 2022.
He adds the board appreciates co-CEOS Paula Fields and Tim Vine, who have served as acting co-CEO’s since April 5, 2021.
