Elliot Lake council approves multi-million reconstruction in Hillside Drive vicinity

Elliot Lake council has given its unanimous approval to replacing water and sewer lines, as well as curbs and sidewalks from Highway 108 to Hutchison Avenue.
Public Works Director Daryl Halloch says there will be a complete removal and replacement of the main lines, and he expects the project to be finished by 2023 with the work beginning this fall.
The $6-million price tag will fall under the 2022 budget.
