CIBC Run for the Cure in Sudbury

The annual CIBC Run for the Cure goes this weekend with both virtual and in-person events.
Sudbury will host a mix of events this Sunday to raise funds for funding breast cancer research.
Sudbury spokesperson, Sara Campbell, says it is the 30th anniversary of the event supporting breast cancer awareness with the aim of making a change for people living with breast cancer and to remember those who have lost their battle to the disease.
She says Run Day includes a live-streamed opening ceremony at 11 am and a celebration kit for fundraisers who will run or walk in their own neighbourhoods.
Campbell adds Kivi (KIV-ee) Park in Sudbury is offering a unique access code to participants allowing Sudbury participants to enjoy the run on their trails.
