East Algoma OPP lays break and enters charges

East Algoma OPP has arrested an Elliot Lake man with break and enter charges involving two unrelated incidents.
Media officer, OPP Constable Bev Gauthier says back on September 15th, officers were called to a break and enter just before 11 am at a residence in the Taylor Boulevard area.
She says the complainant came home and found a window was kicked in and items missing.
She adds shortly after police received a second report where a side door had been kicked in and items missing.
OPP officers then canvassed the neighbourhood and obtained a videotape of a man with various items in his possession, says Gauthier.
She says this past Sunday police arrested a 47-year-old Elliot Lake man and charged him with two counts of break and enter and two counts of breach of probation.
He appeared in Blind River bail court yesterday and was remanded into custody.
