The Manitoulin Health Centre is flying the Pride flag in support of the Two-spirited-LGBTQ Community.
Co-chair Paula Fields says the mission of the centres in Mindemoya and Little Current is to contribute to the health and well-being of anyone who comes to them in need.
Her counterpart Tim Vine says supported by our Cultural Safety, Engagement, and Inclusion
Committee, the centres are building an inclusive culture and space for patients, physicians, learners, staff, and volunteers.
Both concur that raising the Pride flag is a small, but important, gesture towards inclusion.
