Ontario adds 159 new COVID-19 cases

Ontario is reporting 159 new COVID-19 cases.

Friday’s new cases marks the eight straight day the province has reported fewer than 200 new cases.

There were ten more deaths reported.

The recovery rate is steady at 98 per cent with more recoveries than new cases reported.

Test positivity is at 0.6 per cent.

Just over 60 per cent of adults in Ontario are fully vaccinated while 79.8 per cent have received their first dose.
