Cool weather combined with a mix of sun and cloud is keeping the fire hazard in the northeast low to moderate. And with no change in that weather pattern, the Ministry of Natural Resources expects new fire starts to stay on the low side. Only three forest fires erupted over the weekend in the northeast and all are very small. So far this season 32 forest fires in the north have torched about 94 hectares.
