Seniors over the age of 75 can start booking COVID-19 vaccination appointments on Monday.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford says Ontario is ahead of schedule in its rollout of vaccines.
Officials say over 50 percent of Ontarians aged 80 and over have already received their first dose.
The province is also allowing adults sixty and older to get the AstraZeneca vaccine at doctor’s offices and pharmacies across Ontario as of Monday.
Another 350 pharmacies in Ontario will begin offering vaccines over the next two weeks bringing the total to approximately 700 locations.
Ford says he has a cabinet meeting on Friday where a decision will be made on any third wave restrictions for Health Unit regions across Ontario.
An announcement is expected later Friday.
