Teacher shares his recipe for keeping fit and respecting physical distancing
How is it possible to meet the challenge of staying fit and leading group exercises when physical distancing has to be maintained in the school gymnasium.
Mr. Patrick Wissell, physical education teacher at École St-Étienne (Dowling) and expert in the matter, was successful in rising to the challenge.
Here is one of his recipes: start with a bucket, add noodles, then a few hoops and finally rubber chickens.
Indeed, with the implementation of recent changes in our classrooms, Mr. Patrick has been able to draw on his bank of ideas to develop dynamic and motivating physical education lessons for all the students of the school while respecting the physical distancing measures. Mr. Patrick’s creativity and commitment are greatly appreciated and do not go unnoticed!
