North Shore voters invited to all candidates night

The Township of the North Shore is hosting an all-candidates night to fill two vacancies on the council.

According to township volunteer, Janice Gamble, voters can attend in person this Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the covered rink in Spragge.

She says masks must be worn and physical distancing will be also be required.

Gamble says Joyce Robitaille of Serpent River and Tony Moor of Algoma Mills are running for mayor while Len Menard and Glen Shelley are running council.

She adds the by-election is to be held online from September 4^th to 14^th.

The public can also submit their questions to the township website.
