Two-legged friends brought their four-legged friends out for a good cause in Elliot Lake.
Elliot Lake Lions Club organizer, Robert Kerr, says the small, but lively group took part in the Pet Valu Walk for Guide Dogs this past Sunday raising $5,200.
Dogs are trained in Oakville to assist people with vision impairment, physical or medical disabilities, autism, hearing challenges, those with seizure issues, along with diabetes alert guide dogs.
He adds the club hosts the event in partnership with the local Pet Valu to raise money for training of guide dogs at no cost to Canadians in need.
