As people start getting ready to file their income taxes, area police have some fraud tips to keep in mind. Sudbury police say the public has to be careful about an e-mail scam going around that says you’re eligible for a tax refund. The e-mail looks like it’s from the Canada Revenue Agency, but police say it’s not even though it has an official CRA logo and internet links. The e-mail says you’re getting a refund and provides you with a link to fill out a tax refund form. Don’t click the link because once you do and fill out the form, you’re giving con artists valuable information about yourself.
