The Sudbury Regional Science Fair will be the stepping stone to the Canadian finals for Grade 7 to Grade 12 students from the local area.
Caleigh Quinlan of Charles C. McLean Public School will represent the Manitoulin with her project on Surface Tension.
The students won the honour of competing at the regional level following the board’s annual Science Fair held at Lockerby Composite School in early March.
The two-day event is being held in the Alumni Hall at Laurentian University this weekend and winners will go on to the Canada-Wide Science Fair in Fredericton in May.
