The Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League announced its 2018-19 regular season award winners on Friday as well as its first and second all-star team recipients.
One local area player won the The John Grignon Trophy – Rookie of the Year Award.
It went to Noah Minns of the Elliot Lake Wildcats
The 18-year-old Baxter, Ontario youth finished second in rookie scoring with 58 points on 20 tallies and 38 assists.
