Three shelters in Elliot Lake will receive some vital funding, thanks to the efforts of the Elliot Lake’s Coldest Night of the Year Walk.
The walk held on Saturday, raised over $20,100 that will assist three shelters; one geared to women and their children, another geared to men and a new intake service for abused women and their families.
Eighty-five walkers and around 30 volunteers took part in the event.
