All school buses in Espanola, Massey and the Manitoulin District are cancelled today.
Buses are running throughout the Algoma District, including Elliot Lake and Blind River.
All schools will remain open, however, no transportation will be provided.
The only exceptions are Wikwemikong schools and hub centre, and Kenjewin Teg in M’Chigeeng, which are closed.
The Huron Shores Family Health Team Clinic in Blind River will be closed today.
There are also scattered power outages on Manitoulin Island including Gore Bay and M’Chigeeng.
A couple of thousand people are affected.
