It was a busy weekend for the Northern Ontario Junior A hockey teams.
The Elliot Lake Wildcats pulled out a 5-4 victory in overtime on Friday night against the Rayside-Balfour Canadians.
The Soo Eagles edged out the Espanola Express 5-3 Friday night, but the Express turned the tables with a 5-3 victory on Saturday over the Eagles.
And the Blind River Beavers lost out twice against the Soo Thunderbirds this weekend, 9-5 Friday night, 3-1 Saturday.
