Break and enters continue in Elliot Lake

The rash of break and enters continue in Elliot Lake.  Over the summer the East Algoma OPP noticed a big spike in B and E’s in town.  The latest incident saw thieves break into a business at one of the industrial parks and make off with quite a few chain saws.  The culprits got in by breaking a door.  Police have responded to the rise in break and enters by stepping up nightly patrols because that’s when most of the thefts are taking place.
