Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day – Flag raising in Espanola today

The Baby Loss Awareness Week is observed from October 9 to 15 each year to honor and remember babies lost during pregnancy, stillbirth, or infancy.
The Town of Espanola Municipal Council, staff and supporters will raise the flag today at 1 pm at town hall
This week is dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for bereaved parents.
The week encourages creative displays and personal messages, such as writing a short message on a ribbon before hanging it on a memory tree or adding to a memory wall.
The CN Tower, the Sudbury Water Tower, and other locals will also be lit pink, blue and white this evening.
