A swimming advisory has been issued for a beach in Espanola’s south end.
Testing at Clear Lake Beach showed an unacceptable amount of bacteriological water in the area. The Sudbury and District Health Unit says the water is not suitable for recreational use. The health unit says swimmers can get sick if they swallow the beach water or if it gets into their eyes, ears or nose.
The public will be notified when the bacterial levels return to acceptable standards.
