A mugging in Espanola is under investigation by police. It happened on the track and field next to the Espanola Rec Complex on Saturday. The victim was attacked by two men as he was walking across the field. He was cut and punctured by an unknown object, and had cash stolen from him.
Police are now asking anyone with information to come forward. Police also note there has not been any other recent similar occurrence of this kind in Espanola.
