Mining safety conference begins in Sudbury next week

A conference promoting mining safety is kicking off in Sudbury on Tuesday. It’s the annual provincial Mining Health and Safety Conference, hosted by Workplace Safety North. The event bringing the mining industry together to share information and innovation regarding safety programs. Over 200 delegates will be attending.

New this year is a livestream of presentations, keynote speakers, and an industry leaders panel. The tech sessions deal with specific mining hazards, like blasting strategy, gas detection, and working at heights. A full conference program is online at Workplace Safety North.
