Steak eating contest pits two northern mayors against each other

Elliot Lake’s Mayor is taking on another northern politician in the 14^th annual North Shore Cruisers Steak Eating Contest. Dan Marchisella and Blind River Mayor Sue Jensen will try and be the first to get through a 72 oz steak on April 2^nd. They’ll have an hour to do so, and funds raised will go to the North Shore Cruiser’s Sick Kids fund. Tickets for the steak eating contest are on sale now at Appliance Buster’s in Elliot Lake and Bruno’s in Blind River.
