Korey Jarvis off to the Olympic Games this summer

It’s a big accomplishment for Korey Jarvis, formerly of Elliot Lake. The young man has made Canada’s team to wrestle in the heavyweight division at this summer’s Olympic Games. Jarvis is a past medal winner of the Pan-Am games and last year when the games took place in Toronto, he came home with silver.

Jarvis is a former student of ELSS where he honed his wrestling skills as a member of the Elliot Lake Gladiators’ Club. Jarvis now lives in Guelph. The Olympics are in August in Rio de Janeiro.
