Township of Assiginack receives Trillium dollars for digital development

The Ontario government, through the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Seed grant stream, is supporting over 700 projects across the province including digital development in Assiginack township.

According to the release, the foundation states seed grant funding will help non-profits deliver new, innovative ways to support communities across the province.

The Township of Assiginack will receive $46,200 in funding.

Those funds will go toward creating QR codes and other links to improve accessibility to town and museum historical sites, bringing them to life in an accessible manner while also reducing barriers.

The grants enable organizations and municipalities to test new ideas, pilot programs and leverage technology to enhance the well-being of all Ontarians.
