Be careful if someone claiming to be from Canadian Tire calls to say you’ve won a trip, it’s a scam. Police in North Bay are fielding calls about the scam. The con artist says to claim the prize you need to give him your credit card number. Police are saying don’t fall for this and hang up. If you have call display and get such a call, report the number to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre.
