Doctors are not money-hungry opportunists. But France Gelinas, the MPP for Nickel Belt, says that’s how the provincial Liberals are painting this group. The branding is the result of a breakdown in talks between the province and doctors over a new contract. Gelinas says doctors go to medical school to help people. She says they deserve the money they make and wants the Liberals to resume negotiations with them.
