Tim Hortons franchises putting smiles on cookies … and local causes

Tim Hortons franchises in our districts are busy these days with the Holiday Smile Cookies campaign running all this week.

One hundred percent of the cookie sales are going to various local causes.

The Espanola franchise is raising funds for the renovation of the long-term care facility at the Espanola Regional Hospital while the Elliot Lake location is also focusing on the St. Joseph’s General Hospital planning a project in partnership with the foundation, Smilezone in 2024.

Little Current’s location has already sold out its batch yesterday, 1,200, but more are coming in to go to the Little Current Lions Club, which plans to match the donations for renovations at the Manitoulin Centennial Manor.

And Blind River is raising funds to assist the local public library with its upgrades.

McKerrow’s location has been closed for the last few weeks for complete renovations, but supply chain issues have delayed the reopening, which is tentatively planned over the next two weeks.
